Limits

Calls are metered per token, in each store on its own: a token reaching three stores may call each at the full rate. Unless set otherwise for the token, the limit is 600 calls a minute; a token may also carry a quota per day or per month, counted in UTC.

Past a limit, a call answers 429 with the reason limit, and Retry-After when the service knows when to retry.

A POST /bulk call counts once, whatever its items, and runs at most 50 items. It answers 200 with each item's outcome, a refused one carrying its error; a refused item never turns the call into a 401 or 429.
